Nice color – my favorite, of light red golden amber. A head is not prominent but a thin layer never dissipates completely. Fresh smell of hops – pleasant though a bit straigtforward. Taste is somewhat simple too. Very very long bitter and dry finish. Which makes it a good session beer – it takes some time for your palate to process the flavor so it gives you a nice pause between sips. Will pair well with pretty much any food but not too complex to stand on its own so make sure you have somebody interesing to talk to if you decide to order Stone IPA at the bar.
